Introduction to informative speech and attention getter

Informative speech - Informative speaking generally centers on talking about people, events, processes, places, or things. Informing an audience about one of these subjects without being persuasive is often a difficult task to complete.

Attention getter - An attention getter is a tool used at the very beginning of a presentation with the intention of engaging one's audience

🌞TASK 1 - INDIVIDUAL PRESENTATION

Each of the students are assigned a topic. The topic is general 1-2 words topic. The topic is general and simple to enable students to get into a comfortable space with talking English and naturally learn to apply 'attention-getter'.

No physical class today. Please work on the task given below. 

Deadline (Monday) 31th October 2022.

Lesson week 3 : INFORMATIVE SPEECH 1

Group work (5 in a group)

🍎Task part 1

- google research articles on the topics below (search extensively)

- identify the steps/stages for each topics (at least 5 steps/stages for each sub topics)

-  list down all the steps or stages for each of the sub topic. 

- Remember to cite your references

Eg: -  starting processes, continuing process, ending process. 

Eg:-

- Find TED TALK videos.

- List down the steps/ stages that you identified in the videos for each of the topics below.

- remember to cite the clip
